5 Programs like Honeygain for Earning Easy Passive Income (2022)

Updated: 5 days ago

This post contains affiliate links and I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. If anyone asks why, I don't wanna get called up by the FTC.

Still looking for ways to earn more from a passive income program like Honeygain?

You’ve come exactly to the right place

I’ve compiled a list of programs that function just like Honeygain for sharing your internet connection.

If the idea of earning passive income from your computer or smartphone running idly as you sit back and relax sounds appealing to you, you don’t have to look any further other than scrolling down this page.

Let’s start making that easy dough by downloading the programs below and earning immediately!

Note that this list will have new programs added and be updated over time. Please bookmark this page and check back every few months or so.

IPRoyal Pawns

(Available on Windows, MacOS, Android)

Pros:

  • You can run as many devices as you want as long as the residential IP address is different for each one of them

  • No limits to where you are. It works worldwide.

  • Using data from your mobile network may help you earn faster

  • 10% commission for each person you refer

  • Connection is private and encrypted

Cons:

  • Only one device running per residential IP address (household) at a time

  • Cannot be used with VPN

  • 3% processing fee when withdrawing to PayPal

  • Lacking a bit in transparency since they never sent an email about the minimum payout threshold changing from 25 cents to $5 USD

Other Notes:

  • You earn $0.20 USD per 1GB shared

  • You will have to share 20 GB worth of bandwidth to reach $5 for the first time if you use the link below to sign up otherwise, you'll have to share 25 GB

  • Minimum payout changed from $1 USD to $0.25 to $5

  • Redeem either in PayPal, Prepaid Virtual VISA Cards, or Bitcoin

  • Added ability to take surveys on your dashboard via their website

  • Added Facebook and Google integration for registering and signing in

  • Make sure to install the program from their website from time to time since their program lacks an automatic update feature

  • The legal age for using this depends on the country you live in. If you are underage, you might need to get your parent’s or guardian’s permission to use this.

The Verdict

IPRoyal Pawns definitely has less features than Honeygain but strangely enough, I'm beginning to question their reasons for changing the minimum payouts from $1 USD to $0.25 to $5. "Just why??" is my response since I don't have great enough internet speeds to share more unused bandwidth.

Other than that, you'll have to check time from time to see if there's a new version of the program on their website since I used a version where it would sometimes crash for almost a year since it lacks a function for checking updates.

It still is not implemented yet so that part is a hassle.

PacketStream

(Available for any country that supports PayPal, downloadable on Windows, MacOS, and Linux)

Pros:

  • You can run as many computers as you want, even on the same network

  • Con: There is a chance of diminishing returns the more computers you connect with PacketStream

  • Works for a majority of countries

  • 3% commission for each person you refer (currently 20% for a limited time)

  • Connection is definitely private and encrypted

Cons:

  • Subject to a 3% processing fee when withdrawing to PayPal

  • Unavailable for you if PayPal isn't used in your country

  • Cannot be used with VPN even though the FAQs don't mention it

Other Notes:

  • You earn $0.10 USD for each GB you share

  • Minimum payout is $5 USD

  • You'll have to share a total of 50 GB worth of bandwidth in order for you to withdraw

The Verdict

Other than market research used by Honeygain and IPRoyal Pawns for businesses, PacketStream can be used for those who are willing to pay for an alternative VPN service or proxy networks without the hassle going through any blocked or banned web services or encountering multiple Captcha.

Since this service is explicitly focused on privacy, your information is kept safe and secure for sure.

Each 100 MB you contribute will give you $0.01 USD.

[Spider] Income™

(Available for any country that supports PayPal, only on Windows)

Pros:

  • You may use it if you’re above the age of 13 but only if you are at the legal of maturity of your country of residence.

  • If you are 18 and of legal age of maturity (depending on which country you're from), you may need your parent/guardian’s permission to use Income

  • CPU usage on Income™ is generally pegged at zero

Cons:

  • You cannot change your email after signing up so you would have to create a new account

  • Not being transparent about their service (more below)

  • $20 USD minimum withdrawal threshold which is pretty high with the rate you're earning at compared to Honeygain

Other Notes:

  • Earning rates for each country are different:

  • Germany, Japan, and the US require sharing 20 GB worth of bandwidth in order to withdraw

  • Belgium, Canada, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Singapore, Spain, Turkey, and UK require sharing 40 GB worth of bandwidth in order to withdraw

  • Every other country will require 200 GB worth of bandwidth in order to withdraw

  • Payout is only through PayPal with a minimum requirement of $20

  • Your earned credits will be shown as 0 within the program which is inaccurate so you would have to go to your dashboard on the website to see how much you’ve actually earned so far

  • Only one device per network. Any more than that will slow down your earnings.

  • As long as the computer is on and connected to the internet, Income will run

  • Other OS such as macOS (running Windows via VM), mobile devices, and Linux are currently in development for future availability

  • There are 10 levels of referral earnings you can receive:

  • First level is 25%.

  • Second level is 10%.

  • 3rd and 4th level is 5%

  • 5th through 10th level is 1%

The Verdict:

At first, I had issues with the program right after I installed it since it would keep showing an error when I try to connect to my account.

Right after that, the online support was a little bit helpful right after I reinstalled it. They were just off with where the files and folders are located since they were kind of nonexistent in terms of the names.

As for my usage, I haven’t been able to earn much from it and I thought it was because I was using all the other programs like Honeygain but that's not the case.

It's clearly because the program is actually still in beta according to their terms of service so I'm not getting the most out of this it at the moment and hence, why it's only available on Windows apart from the bugs.

So Spider.com is not being completely transparent with us since they don't mention it on the front page but that's not all.

They mention that you could earn $5-60 a month for using their program but in reality, a business cannot do that without providing proof.

Furthermore, the Trustpilot reviews for their program that are shown on their website are actually fake and the real ones can be found here and here.

And because of how they're advertising their program is illegal in terms of false claims and advertising, I highly suggest reporting them to the FTC regardless which country you're from.

You can start the report process by clicking here and then clicking the on the "Something else" section.

  • Add in

  • The details about the false claims of earning $5-60 a month

  • The fake Trustpilot reviews while adding in the links to the real ones

And I'm not doing this to put them out of business but to help them operate their business the right way and hopefully, becoming more transparent in the future.

Despite about everything I've said about spider.com, you can still sign up for Income cause their earning process is legitimate.
